Cancer regardless of the type is a terrible disease is concerned and feared by the human race, even more, because there is still no cure for it. Leukemia is the type of cancer that affects blood cells, it is basically cancer of the blood or bone marrow. It is typically characterized by unusual increase in the number of white blood cells. There are different types of leukemia and they are classified depending on how soon the disease progresses and worsen. There are two main forms of disease, leukemia acute and chronic.
